Terms & Conditions
Legal Disclaimer
These Rental Terms & Conditions apply to all reusable moving bins, dollies, and accessories rented from BIN Moving (“BIN Moving,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By placing an order, accepting delivery, or taking possession of rental equipment, the customer agrees to the following terms.
Terms & Conditions - The Basics
1. One-Week Rental Period
All standard BIN Moving packages include a 7-day rental period.
Friday Delivery → Following Friday Pickup
Saturday Delivery → Following Saturday Pickup
Your scheduled delivery and pickup dates will be confirmed at booking. The rental period is based on the scheduled dates regardless of when the customer begins using the equipment.
2. Holiday Policy
If a scheduled delivery or pickup falls on a recognized holiday when BIN Moving is not operating, service will automatically be moved to the next business day at no additional charge. The additional day will not be considered a late return.
3. Delivery & Pickup
BIN Moving provides delivery and pickup of rental equipment.
Bins will be delivered to the customer's front door or, when accessible and requested, just inside the garage. For safety, liability, and efficiency, BIN Moving employees do not enter residences or deliver bins inside the home.
For pickup, all equipment must be:
Empty • Clean • Closed • Stacked • Secure • Covered • Easily Accessible
Bins must be placed outside in a secure and covered location or just inside an accessible garage when previously arranged.
Customers are responsible for protecting equipment awaiting pickup from rain, standing water, sprinklers, vehicles, animals, and other potential sources of damage.
BIN Moving will contact the customer approximately 24 hours before the scheduled pickup to provide a 2-hour pickup window.
Customers do not need to be present as long as the equipment is in the agreed-upon secure, covered, and accessible location.
If equipment cannot be retrieved because it is inside the residence, behind a locked gate or door, not ready, inaccessible, or otherwise unavailable due to circumstances within the customer's control, an additional trip fee and/or rental extension fee may apply.
4. Clean BIN Policy
All bins must be returned empty and reasonably clean.
Please remove all belongings, trash, food, liquids, dirt, debris, labels, packing materials, and residue before pickup.
Normal dust and minor marks associated with ordinary moving use are expected.
Bins returned excessively dirty, contaminated, stained, sticky, odorous, or requiring additional cleaning or disinfecting will be subject to a $100 Cleaning & Disinfecting Fee.
BIN Moving reserves the right to photograph or document the condition of returned equipment.
5. Labels & Markings
Please do not use permanent markers, paint, stickers, tape, or anything that could leave residue or damage the bins.
Each BIN will come with its own reusable labeling card, making it easy to identify the room or contents without marking the bin itself.
BIN Moving branding, identification numbers, labels, or other company markings may not be removed, altered, or covered.
6. What Can I Pack in My BIN?
Bins are intended for ordinary household and office moving items, including clothing, linens, toys, books, dishes, cookware, décor, properly sealed pantry goods, office supplies, and similar belongings.
Heavy items should be distributed among multiple bins rather than placing excessive weight into a single bin. A fully packed bin should remain reasonably movable using ordinary lifting techniques or a dolly.
7. Prohibited Items
BIN Moving equipment may not be used to store or transport hazardous, illegal, toxic, corrosive, explosive, flammable, biohazardous, or potentially damaging materials.
This includes gasoline, fuel, oil, flammable liquids, wet paint, leaking liquids, chemicals, medical or biohazardous waste, human or animal waste, wet or decomposing food, live animals or insects, plants containing loose soil or water, illegal substances, or anything likely to permanently stain, contaminate, damage, or create an odor in the equipment.
Bins may not be used as trash cans, coolers, seats, step stools, work platforms, animal containers, or for purposes unrelated to moving or storage.
8. Weight & Proper Use
Customers are responsible for packing bins safely and using reasonable judgment regarding weight.
Do not exceed the manufacturer's stated weight capacity. Dense items such as books should be distributed among multiple bins.
Customers are responsible for injuries or property damage resulting from improper lifting, excessive weight, unstable stacking, misuse of dollies, or use of the equipment for unintended purposes.
Children may not ride, stand, climb, or play on bins or dollies.
9. Dollies
All dollies remain the property of BIN Moving and must be returned with the rental equipment.
Dollies are intended for transporting properly stacked bins across reasonably level surfaces. Dollies may not be overloaded, ridden on, used to transport people, or used for unrelated purposes.
Lost, stolen, missing, or damaged dollies may be charged at the current replacement cost.
10. Rental Extensions
Need a little more time? Please contact BIN Moving before your scheduled pickup date.
Rental extensions are subject to equipment availability because your bins may already be reserved for another customer.
Additional rental time will be charged at the applicable extension rate and is not confirmed until approved by BIN Moving.
11. Late or Unavailable BINs
All equipment must be ready and available during the scheduled pickup window unless an extension has been approved.
If equipment is not ready or accessible, an additional rental charge and/or trip fee may apply.
Continued failure to return rental equipment may result in the customer being charged the reasonable replacement cost of the unreturned equipment.
12. Lost, Stolen or Damaged Equipment
The customer is responsible for rental equipment from the time it is delivered until it is retrieved and accepted by BIN Moving.
Normal wear and tear is expected and will not result in a charge.
Customers may be charged the reasonable current replacement cost for equipment that is:
Lost • Stolen • Missing • Cracked • Burned • Cut • Permanently Stained • Contaminated • Intentionally Damaged • Altered • Damaged Beyond Normal Wear
13. Outdoor Use & Storage
Customers must reasonably protect BIN Moving equipment while it is in their possession.
Equipment should not be exposed to flooding, fire, excessive heat, vehicles, lawn equipment, animals, chemicals, standing water, or other conditions that could cause damage.
Equipment awaiting pickup must remain in the secure, covered location described in Section 3.
14. Personal Property
BIN Moving is an equipment rental and delivery service. Unless specifically agreed to in writing, BIN Moving does not pack, load, transport, unload, unpack, or insure customers' personal belongings.
Customers are responsible for properly packing, protecting, and transporting their belongings.
BIN Moving is not an insurer of customers' personal property and is not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings except where liability cannot legally be excluded.
We recommend personally transporting cash, jewelry, medications, important documents, irreplaceable items, and other high-value belongings.
15. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that moving plans can change.
Cancellations must be made at least 3 days prior to the scheduled delivery date to avoid a cancellation fee.
Cancellations made less than 3 days before the scheduled delivery date will be subject to a $45 cancellation fee.
Customers should contact BIN Moving as soon as possible to cancel or reschedule. Changes to delivery dates, pickup dates, packages, or equipment are subject to availability.
16. Payment Authorization
By placing an order and providing a payment method, the customer authorizes BIN Moving to charge the agreed rental price and any additional amounts properly due under these Terms & Conditions.
Additional charges may include approved rental extensions, additional delivery or pickup trips, the $100 Cleaning & Disinfecting Fee, and replacement charges for lost, missing, stolen, or damaged equipment.
When reasonably practicable, BIN Moving will provide notice or documentation regarding post-rental charges.
17. Weather & Unexpected Events
Because Florida weather doesn't always cooperate with moving plans, BIN Moving may postpone or reschedule service when conditions make delivery or pickup unsafe or impractical.
This may include hurricanes, tropical storms, flooding, lightning, unsafe road conditions, government orders, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Customers will not be considered late solely because BIN Moving postponed a scheduled pickup.
18. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by Florida law, BIN Moving will not be responsible for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use rental equipment.
Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to waive any right or liability that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.
19. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Florida.
If any provision is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
20. Agreement to Terms
By completing a reservation, electronically accepting these Terms & Conditions, accepting delivery, or taking possession of BIN Moving equipment, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these terms.
